I have finally taken the plunge and created my own blog, something i have wanted to do for a very long time. I have called it “The Yeoman’s Blog” because the middle word means everything to me and I spent a lengthy period of my life where that was literally my first name, filling a military role in the Royal Corps of Signals. Those days seem a little distant now but nevertheless, remain extremely important to me. For the last 20 years I have been working in Industry, within the Emergency Services sector, so unsurprisingly, both of these areas will feature in future blogs. That said, I do not want to constrain myself in any way and my aim is to show curiosity in regard to the world around us, the good, the bad and the ugly, challenging injustices, poor leadership and management at all levels and seeking to help make the world a more open, collaborative place. Please bear with me as I find my feet and excuse the inevitable errors along the way.
